Strategic Engineer

Requirements
  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Extensive programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Java, Python, Javascript/AJAX
  • A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
Desired Skills
  • Experience in developing mobile and desktop applications
  • Knowledge in marketing applications in Android and Apple stores
  • Added bonus if you're familiar with any of the following: MySQL, AWS, Django, SQLAlchemy, Pylons, WSGI, NoSQL, memcached, REST design principles, API integration, async/concurrent IO programming

Web Software Engineer

Requirements
  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Extensive programming experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS and Python/Django (or equivalent)
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
Desired Skills
  • Experience in developing web applications
  • Quantitative background
Responsibilities
  • A/B testing, multi-variate testing, and conversion-funnel optimization
  • Building Analytics and reporting systems
  • Collecting and aggregating data
  • Prototyping and building web properties, potentially browser plugins
  • Learning, discovering and playing with new technologies

Web & Graphic Designer

About You

You love to design beautiful graphics and websites with careful attention to detail and aesthetics. You understand what the "web 2.0" look entails and have designed for a consumer-based audience. You are highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator with experience creating animated and static banners, email campaigns, landing pages, and more. You work quickly and want to grow in a start-up environment!

Skills Needed
  • 4-year BA degree in an art or design-related discipline (or equivalent)
  • High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of web and user interface design principles
  • Ability to sketch ideas and communicate effectively visually
  • Self-motivated, independent nature who cares about punctuality and organization
  • Business-oriented mindset with some marketing exposure
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge in one or more server-side environment (PHP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web standards and accessibility
  • A battle-hardened understanding of browser compatibility
  • Some experience with jQuery or Prototype, etc.
